Comforting Scriptures

PAGE PUT TOGETHER FOR MY SISTER,
thanks sis, words of comfort are always needed.

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them,
for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."
(Matthew 19:14)

The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts so I am
helped, and my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.

Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
(Matthew 5:4)

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you
rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and
humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is
easy and my burden is light.
(Matthew 11:28-30)

Therefore since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with
God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace,
in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope
of the Glory of GOD.
(Romans 5:1-2)

He will wipe every tear from their eyes.  There will be no more death,
or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed
away
(Revelations 21:4)

Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again, and you will
rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.
